2015 Race to Reduce Awards

On November 5, 2015, at the annual Race to Reduce Awards, 483 Bay Street won the 2015 award for the lowest energy use in the over one million square foot category. The award recognizes the lowest energy use within a building measured by ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager’s Performance Rating. 483 Bay Street has won this award category five years running.

Race to Reduce is one of the largest regional energy challenges in the world, over 600 landlords and tenants have collaborated to reduce energy usage in almost one third of Toronto region’s commercial office space since its launch in May 2011.
