Prakash has over 25 years of experience leading professional teams to invest in, develop and manage institutional-quality real estate across all major property types and major markets in Canada, the US, Asia, and the MENA region.
Most recently, Prakash was the Chief Investment Officer of Triovest Realty Advisors. In that role Prakash created a private equity co-investment business, raising over $2B (Cad) of committed capital through segregated accounts and pooled funds, and investing in $1.4b of opportunistic real estate that consistently achieved outsized investment returns in excess of 20% annualized (levered).
Prior to this, Prakash closed a $3.2B (Cad) investment in Singapore between the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority and Lendlease and oversaw a Transit-Oriented-Development of 3 apartment towers, 3 office towers, and a 7-level shopping complex.
Other leadership roles included building the retail investment strategy for Majid Al Futtaim, a global retail leader based out of Dubai UAE, building a development platform for the City of Toronto that unlocked 24 under-utilized parcels of land into significant developed landmarks in Toronto, leading a growth program for Walmart anchored shopping centers throughout Southern Ontario, and practicing real estate and property taxation law.
Prakash has sat on a number of industry and charitable Boards, most recently acting as an executive-in-residence for the Ivey MBA program. He spends his spare time with his family, and on the tennis court.
